of enormous walls tp protect their borders from nomadic Xiongnu.In about 210 
BC,Qin Shi Huangdi of which i've shown the picture, the first Qin emporer, coordinated this work into massive 2250 km(1400 mile) wall.A project taht took a million forced labourers nine years to complete.The Great Wall remained an ongoing project for 2000 years.It reached its present size during the Ming dynasty(1348-1644).At 9980 km (6200 miles) long, 8 m wide, it is the largest man-made structure on earth.
